QATRO 2022 Services Assessment

2022 has been a year of expansion and growth for QATRO, with more than 9 large projects carried out in parallel both in Europe and through our subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Chile and Israel. We are very proud of our human team, of their dedication and involvement in each service, and of their continuous improvement that positions QATRO as a benchmark in E+I&C commissioning services worldwide.

• UNITED KINGDOM – Energy from Waste – NESS Energy Project – E + I&C Commissioning Services – Client: ACCIONA Industrial:
  • QATRO was awarded to carry out the commissioning of a new energy from waste power plant in the Aberdeen (Scotland), with full scope of service: Electricity and Instrumentation & Control.
    Plant with 15 MW for the electrical grid and 10 MWth for urban heating, able to process 150,000 tons of waste per year
• ITALY- Hydraulic Power Station – Villa Toce II – Specialistic hydro test + E, I&C Commissioning – Client: ENEL Green Power
  • QATRO was awarded the contract to carry out the commissioning and special hydraulic tests for the retrofit and renovation of the ENEL hydroelectric power plant in Italy.
    This is one of the 3 hydro power plants that QATRO has carried out this year, a service under a framework agreement that QATRO keeps with ENEL for the renovation of part of its hydroelectric power plants.
• GERMANY – Gas Power Plant – Biblis 300MW & INFRASERV Höchst 2x6F03 – E, I&C Commissioning Services – Client: General Electric Power
  • QATRO was awarded to support the commissioning of two plants built by General Electric Power in Germany, both plants consisting of 2 gas turbines in Höchst (near Frankfurt) and 11 turbines in Biblis. Both projects within the “low-carbon” plan, with the capacity to use hydrogen as part of the fuel mix
• SPAIN – Photovoltaic Power Plant – Bolarque 100MW & Extremadura I, II y III 300MW – E Commissioning Services – Client: ACCIONA Energia
  • Under a framework agreement for testing and commissioning PV plants with ACCIONA Energía, QATRO has come and continues to carry out the commissioning of photovoltaic generation plants in Spain
• SPAIN – L4T Recycling Plant (Puertollano) – Life for Tyres – E + I&C Commissioning Services – Client: L4T Group
  • QATRO has been awarded the contract for the start-up, of the end-of-life tyre recovery plant being developed by IDOM for Life for Tyres in Puertollano.
    With an annual processing capacity of around 30,000 tonnes of used tyres, the plant will be the first in Spain and the largest in Europe capable of transforming used tyres into advanced biofuel and other high quality secondary raw materials.
• ISRAEL – Orot Rabin Power Plant – 1260 MW combined cycle, (Hadera) – I&C Commissioning Services – Client: GENERAL ELECTRIC Energy
  • QATRO has been contracted to commission the conversion and modernization project of the old coal power plant to the new one that will be a combined cycle gas power plant by General Electric for Israel Electric Company. The new plant will be made up of 4 groups of 315 MW each one
• ISRAEL – Etgal 186 MW OCGT  (Asdod) – E+I&C Commissioning Services – Client: SHIKUN & BINUI
  • QATRO has been contracted for the E + I&C commissioning of the Open Cycle he Isarel company SHIKUN BINUI SOLEL BONEH INFRASTRUCTURE is developing with GE as supplier of power block. These is the second project QATRO works for the same owner plant SHIKUN & BINUI Energy, after the CSP solar project Ashalim plot A. In this occasion working directly with the owner plant.

• ISRAEL – Zomet Energy OCGT 396 MW (Kyriat Gat) – I&C Commissioning Services – Client: Energy Services LLC
  • QATRO has been contracted for the I&C commissioning of the new picker plant of OPC Zomet, under an agreement with Energy Services. These is the second project QATRO works for the same owner plant OPC Energy, in these case for the EPC contractor, a subsidiary of MITSUBISHI Power Americas, Inc.

• CHILE, SPAIN and EUROPE –  POWER SUBSTATIONS – E Commissioning Services – Client: VARIOUS
  • QATRO is carrying out the commissioning and energization of main substations for many wind and photovoltaic projects for different clients, both in Spain, Chile, Italy, and Poland.
