We started another of our Italian projects 🌍 in the northern province of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the combined cycle of Fusina power plant. Our technicians are performing, among others, primary injection tests with the OMICRON electronics CPC100 on the protection and measuring current⚡transformers of the gas turbine generator. Our instrumentation tests will start next September.
This combinedCyle, owned by Enel Group Italia, has a 570 MW gas turbine and a 275 MW steam turbine from Ansaldo Energia. This power plant, which replaces an old coal-fired power plant, will mean greater energy efficiency, lower CO2 emissions 🌱 and greater operational flexibility, thus being able to respond more quickly to electricity demand.
